CONTRIBUTIONS ARE PRIMARILY USED TO OFFER FLU SHOTS AND ASSIST IN COBRA PAYMENTS FOR PATIENTS WHO ARE UNEMPLOYED. VOLUNTEERS IN ACTION ALSO MAINTAINS AND OPERATES THE HOSPITAL GIFT SHOPS AND BABY PHOTO CENTER.VOLUNTEERS IN ACTION RECEIVES A PORTION OF THE PROCEEDS FROM BOOK SALES,JEWELRY AND ART COMMISSIONS AND GIFT SHOWS. THIS SUPPORT CONSTITUTES THE BASIS FOR TAXPAYERS EXEMPTION.
