THE UNISERV PROGRAM REPRESENTS AN ADDITIONAL, JOINTLY FUNDED ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE PLACED BETWEEN THE WASHINGTON EDUCATION ASSOCIATION (WEA) AND ITS AFFILIATED LOCAL ASSOCIATIONS. SAMMAMISH UNISERV COUNCIL MAINTAINS FINANCIAL AND OPERATING AUTONOMY FROM WEA, EXCEPT FOR TRANSACTIONS INVOLVING PAYROLL, WHICH ARE HANDLED BY WEA.
