MORE SPECIFICALLY, THE MUSEUM ADDRESSES A COMMUNITY NEED AND IS DEDICATED TO PROVIDING UNIQUE, AND MEANINGFUL EXPERIENCES THROUGH FUN, INNOVATIVE, INTERACTIVE EXHIBITS AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING THAT FOSTERS LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT IN CHILDREN OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS. IT IS THE MISSION OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS CHILDREN'S MUSEUM TO BRING CHILDREN AND FAMILIES TOGETHER IN AN INTERACTIVE EDUCATIONAL SPACE WHERE IMPACTFUL PLAY INSPIRES A LOVE OF LEARNING. THE VISION OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS CHILDREN'S MUSEUM IS TO CREATE AN ENVIRONMENT THAT FOSTERS EXPLORATIVE LEARNING AND CREATES A LIFELONG PASSION FOR SEEKING KNOWLEDGE.

MEMBERS PARTICIPATE IN ACTIVITIES CONDUCTED BY THE ASSOCIATION SUCH AS THE ANNUAL TRADE SHOW AND TRAINING SEMINARS WHICH SERVE TO PROMOTE COOPERATION AND UNDERSTANDING AMONG ITS MEMBERS AS WELL AS ENCOURAGE AND PROMOTE HIGH STANDARDS OF SERVICE AND CONDUCT WHICH ARE IN THE BEST INTERESTS OF THE PUBLIC AND THE INDUSTRY.

The goal of this organization is to make available to members and their guests and facilities for recreational activities, sports and games. Also included are social clubs that provide opportunities for people to meet and socialize with their peers at dances, parties, picnics, barbecues and other companionable events; and special interest clubs which enable people to share hobbies or other interests with individuals with those same interests.

TO EXPLORE THE FEASIBILITY OF AMELIORATING THE RISING SEA LEVEL EFFECT OF CLIMATE CHANGE BY CREATING AGRICULTURAL OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH PUMPNG OF SEA WATER TO DESERT AREAS. INITIALLY, THE PROJECT WILL CONCENTRATE ON MEDITERREAN WATERS AND THE SAHARA DESERT.

Coaching, access to a swimming pool or other facilities, sports equipment, and officials for competitions are generally included.
