THE WEST PIEDMONT WORKFORCE INVESTMENT BOARD IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION ESTABLISHED IN VIRGINIA AS A MEANS TO DIRECT FEDERAL WORKFORCE TRAINING FUNDS TO DESIGNATED SERVICE AREAS. THE BOARD SERVES INDEPENDENT CITIES OF MARTINSVILLE AND DANVILLE AND THE COUNTIES OF HENRY, PATRICK, AND PITTSYLVANIA.
