OPERATIONS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR INCLUDED OVER 2500 AMBULANCE TRIPS AT NO CHARGE FOR THE SERVICE TO THE POOR RESIDENTS OF SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA WHO HAVE NO INSURANCE COVERAGE TO PAY FOR THIS EMERGENCY MEDICAL NEED. ALSO, PROVIDE ASSITANCE TO THE SCHOOLS AND THEIR SCHOOL EVENTSETC. FOOTBALL, BASKETBALL, SOFTBALL AND ALL OTHER ATHLETIC EVENTS AND GAMES FOR ALL THE SCHOOLS IN SCOTT COUNTY.

FOCUSING ON THE MULTIPLE ROLES OF FAMILY MEMBER, WAGE EARNER, AND COMMUNITY LEADER, MEMBERS DEVELOP SKILLS FOR LIFE THROUGH: CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, CREATIVE AND CRITICAL THINKING, INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATIONS, PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE, AND CAREER PREPARATION.

TO ESTABLISH TEAMS WITH RULES AND REGULATIONS AS DIRECTED BY THE NATIONAL LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL ORGANIZATION AND TO NONDISCRIMINATE TO KIDS BECAUSE OF THEIR RACE, RELIGION, OR CREED. TO ENCOURAGE SPORTMANSHIP ETHICAL CONDUCT AMONGST THE KIDS AND THE COACHES AND ALL VOLUNTEERS. TO RAISE FUNDING FOR THIS ORGANIZATION TO PERFORM ITS MISSION.

ALUMNI & ASSOCIATES IS A TYPE OF MEMBERSHIP WITHIN THE FCCLA BYLAWS AND IS COMPOSED OF ADULTS WHO ARE FORMER MEMBERS AND/OR WISH TO VOLUNTEER TO PROVIDE SERVICE AND LEADERSHIP TRAINING TO THE SECONDARY SCHOOL MEMBERS. THE MISSION OF ALUMNI & ASSOCIATES OF VA FCCLA IS TO BE A SOURCE OF STRENGTH, GROWTH, AND DEVELOPMENT TO THE VA ASSOCIATION OF FCCLA THROUGH THE CONTINUED INVOLVEMENT OF ALUMNI AND SUPPORTERS. VIRGINIA ALUMNI & ASSOCIATES OF VA FCCLA PARTNERS WITH THE STUDENT ORGANIZATION IN CREATING MULTIPLE LEADERSHIP ACTIVITIES FOR STUDENT MEMBERS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
