DISPEL THE NEGATIVE MYTHS AND STIGMAS SURROUNDING FOSTER CARE AND PROVIDE EDUCATION AND RESOURCES TO COMMUNITIES AND PROSPECTIVE FOSTER FAMILIES.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide support services to patients and their families. Programs can include social and recreational activities for people who are recovering from surgery or a serious illnesses; supportive services for children who are ill and for their families which enable family members to remain with a child who is hospitalized; family and sibling support groups, and programs which attempt to make a gravely or terminally ill child’s final days, weeks and months more pleasant. DEVELOPING LIFELONG LEARNING SKILLS RESULTING IN THE ABILITY TO USE THOSE SKILLS TO LEARN AND APPLY ANY SUBJECT ENCOUNTERED IN BUSINESS OR LIFE, THROUGH MASTERY OF EFFECTIVE METHODS OF STUDY. 2. INCREASING THE RESPONSIBILITY, SELF-RESPECT, AND INTEGRITY OF THE INDIVIDUAL THROUGH THE STUDY AND DAILY APPLICATION OF PRINCIPLES OF ETHICAL CONDUCT TO ENABLE HIM OR HER TO IMPROVE CONDITIONS IN ALL AREAS OF LIFE AS WELL AS IN ORGANIZATIONS. 3. Also included are social clubs that provide opportunities for people to meet and socialize with their peers at dances, parties, picnics, barbecues and other companionable events; and special interest clubs which enable people to share hobbies or other interests with individuals with those same interests.
