THE ACTIVITIES OF FUEL THE FIRE MINISTRIES FOCUS ON GOD'S FOUR REQUIREMENTS IN 2 CHRONICLES 7:14 WHICH ARE HUMILITY, PRAYER, SEEKING GOD AND A REPENTANCE OF SIN. THE ACTIVITIES SHARE THIS BIBLICAL PRINCIPAL WITH OTHERS AND ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO PRACTICE GOD'S REQUIREMENTS SO HE WILL HEAL OUR LAND. FUEL THE FIRE MINISTRIES WILL UTILIZE ALL AVAILABLE METHODS TO ACCOMPLISH THE ABOVE GOALS, INCLUDING THE USE OF ALL MEDIUMS OF COMMUNICATION INCLUDING WRITTEN COMMUNICATION, ON SITE/LIVE COMMUNICATION AND ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION.

PERMIAN BASIN ANIMAL ADVOCATES CAME FROM HUMBLE BEGINNINGS IN APRIL OF 2019 WHEN THREE WOMEN DECIDED TO ADVOCATE FOR THE UNWANTED CATS AND DOGS IN OUR COMMUNITY. WE BEGAN AS A SMALL FOSTER BASED RESCUE, PROVIDING OUR HOMES AND PERSONAL FUNDS TO FULLY VET THE ANIMALS IN OUR CARE. WE ORIGINALLY FOCUSED ON HELPING ANIMALS IN MIDLAND COUNTY WITH THE PLAN TO GROW INTO SURROUNDING AREAS AS THE NEEDS GREW. IT DIDN'T TAKE LONG FOR THE COMMUNITY TO NOTICE THE THINGS WE WERE DOING, AND THE ANIMALS BEING SAVED. BECAUSE OF THE COMMUNITY'S DESIRE TO HELP THESE UNDERDOGS AND CATS," WE MORE THAN TRIPLED IN SIZE IN 2022. MORE FOSTER HOMES HAVE OPENED UP AND FUNDS WERE DONATED TOWARDS VET CARE. WE ARE PROUD TO SAY THAT WE STILL SAVED DOGS AND CATS FROM MIDLAND, ODESSA, BIG SPRING, STANTON, LAMESA AND MONAHANS (PLUS A FEW FROM LUBBOCK). THANKS TO OUR DONORS, ALL ANIMALS ARE FULLY VETTED BEFORE ADOPTION. WE MAINTAINED OVER 85 FOSTER HOMES IN MIDLAND AND ODESSA (FOR BOTH CATS AND DOGS). TYPICALLY, THE ANI

SERVE MIDLAND CONDUCTS A CHARITY TENNIS TOURNAMENT THAT HOSTS BOTH MEN AND WOMEN TENNIS TEAMS FROM ALL RATINGS TO PARTICIPATE IN A TWO-DAY EVENT. THE PLAYERS TOURNAMENT IS THEN FOLLOWED ON THE SECOND DAY WITH AN EXHIBITION MATCH FROM TENNIS PROFESSIONALS AND AN EVENING CELEBRATION FOR SPONSORS, PLAYERS, AND ATTENDEES. SPONSORSHIPS/TEAMS/AND INDIVIDUAL TICKETS ARE RAISED THROUGH THE FALL/WINTER AND THEN USED TO PUT ON THE SERVE MIDLAND EVENT IN APRIL. RAFFLES AND DONATIONS ARE ENCOURAGED TO INCREASE THE REVENUE, ALL WITH THE GOAL OF GIVING A CHOSEN NON-PROFIT BENEFICIARY A CHECK FOR THEIR ORGANIZATION AT THE EVENT. THIS IS A FUN AND EASY WAY TO PAIR THE SPIRIT OF PHILANTHROPY WITH THE GAME OF TENNIS THAT HAS BECOME INCREASINGLY MORE POPULAR IN MIDLAND. IT ALSO PROVIDES VITAL FUNDING FOR OTHER NONPROFITS THAT ARE CONSISTENTLY DOING IMPORTANT WORK AND PROVIDING SOCIAL SERVICES FOR RESIDENTS OF MIDLAND.
