THE FOUNDATION SOLICITS, RECEIVES, INVESTS, AND MANAGES GIFTS, GRANTS, CONTRIBUTIONS AND BEQUESTS THAT ARE INTENDED TO SUPPORT THE LONG-TERM GOALS, PURPOSES AND OBJECTIVES OF THE SCHOOL. THE FOUNDATION MAKES ANNUAL OPERATING GRANTS TO THE SCHOOL, PAID QUARTERLY.

THE MISSION OF THE A.W. BROWN LEADERSHIP ACADEMY IS TO PRODUCE SMART, (CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O) EFFECTIVE, EFFICIENT, DISCIPLINED STUDENTS BY CREATING AN ENVIRONMENT IN WHICH TEACHERS FEEL SAFE TO TEACH AND SCHOLARS FEEL SAFE TO LEARN.

THE CENTERPOINT OF THE PROJECT IS THE RESTORATION AND RENOVATION OF THE HISTORIC FOREST THEATER IN SOUTH DALLAS.
