THE KING'S DAUGHTERS' SCHOOL PROMOTES INDEPENDENCE THROUGH EDUCATIONAL, RESIDENTIAL AND COMMUNITY SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES, CONTINUING A 100 YEAR LEGACY.

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

MISSION:

THE PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO PROVIDE EXCELLENT ALCOHOL AND DRUG TREATMENT PROGRAMS AND SERVICES, TEMPORARY SHELTER FOR THE HOMELESS, AND FOOD FOR THE HUNGRY, IN A CARING, CHRISTIAN ENVIRONMENT.

THE PARTNERSHIP SUPPORTS MAURY COUNTY AND CITY GOVERNMENTS TO ENHANCE AND PROMOTE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN THE COUNTY.
