MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the organizations, sometimes referred to as public charities, that derive their funding or support primarily from the general public in carrying out their social, educational, religious or other charitable activities serving the common welfare. Although public foundations may provide direct charitable services to the public as other nonprofits do, their primary focus is on grantmaking.

Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

TO FACILITATE THE EDUCATIONAL, SOCIAL, AND PHYSICAL WELL-BEING OF UNDER- RESOURCED CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN CLARENDONG COUNTY, SC THROUGH THE PROMOTION OF ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT, KNOWLEDGE OF LOCAL HISTORY, AND RESPONSIBLE CITIZENSHIP.

IN 2023, 63 MEN AND 28 WOMEN WERE PROVIDED SHELTER AND SUPPORT AS THEY WORKED TOWARD GAINING FINANCIAL STABILITY AND HOUSING INDEPENDENCE.

TO STUDY THE CHARACTERISTICS AND MARKET TRENDS IN RELATION TO ECONOMIC HOUSING ISSUES WITHIN THE WACCAMAW HOUSING SERVICES TO SPECIAL NEEDS POPULATION.

MIRACLE SQUARE, INC. IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION FORMED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE NOT-FOR-PROFIT STATUTES OF THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA. THE CORPORATION WAS FORMED FOR THE PURPOSE OF OPERATING A 10 UNIT PROJECT KNOWN AS MIRACLE SQUARE LOCATED IN SUMTER, SOUTH CAROLINA, WHICH PROVIDES HOUSING FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES. THE CORPORATION RECEIVES HOUSING ASSISTANCE FROM THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT PURSUANT TO SECTION 811 OF THE NATIONAL HOUSING ACT, AS AMENDED.

THE ORIGINAL SIX FOUNDATION SERVES SC PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS IN RURAL AND UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES THROUGH AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS AND EARLY LITERACY INITIATIVES.

TO RECEIVE GIFTS FROM MEMBERS OF THE CONGREGATION AND OTHER PERSONS INTERESTED IN WESTMINSTER PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH AND ITS PROGRAMS. THE FUNDS ARE PLANNNED TO BE DISTRIBUTED IN FURTHERANCE OF THE PROGRAMS OF THE CHURCH.
