OUR MISSION IS TO ENHANCE THE SKILLS, CONNECTIONS AND KNOWLEDGE OF EMERGING AND ESTABLISHED LEADERS, ENABLING THEM TO BETTER SERVE IN OUR COMMUNITIES, WORKPLACES AND ORGANIZATIONS.

MISSION:

SKILLS IN SCRANTON BUSINESS EDUCATION PARTNERSHIP ("SKILLS") IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION AND IS THE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT AFFILIATE OF THE GREATER SCRANTON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE. SKILLS WORKS WITH LOCAL EMPLOYERS, SCHOOL DISTRICTS, HIGHER EDUCATION PARTNERS AND PENNSYLVANIA DATA EXPERTS TO DEVELOP STRATEGIES THAT HELP ENSURE THE REGIONAL WORKFORCE IS ALIGNED WITH HIGH PRIORITY JOBS OF THE FUTURE.

MISSION:

TO EDUCATE OUR MEMBERS AND THE PUBLIC IN THE ART OF DANCE WHILE BRINGING THE TALENTS OF WELL-KNOWN ARTISTS, CHOREOGRAPHERS, AND MASTER TEACHERS INTO NORTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA FOR THE BENEFIT OF OUR STUDENTS AS WELL AS OUR AUDIENCE.

ST. JOSEPH'S CENTER AUXILIARY WAS FORMED TO SOLICIT, COLLECT, HOLD, OR DISTRIBUTE PROPERTY, REAL OR OTHERWISE, FOR THE BENEFIT OF ST. JOSEPH'S CENTER, A NON-PROFIT INSTITUTION FOUNDED BY THE CONGREGATION OF SISTERS, SERVANTS OF THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY. THE AUXILIARY HAS AN INDEPENDENT BOARD OF DIRECTORS WHO MANAGE ITS AFFAIRS.

The goal of this organization is to provide all forms of support except for financial assistance or fund raising for other organizations within the Voluntary Health Associations and Medical Disciplines major group area.

MISSION:

THE ASSOCIATION OF CATHOLIC MENTAL HEALTH MINISTERS SUPPORT CATHOLIC PARISHES AND DIOCESES IN ESTABLISHING MENTAL HEALTH MINISTRIES. MENTAL HEALTH MINISTRIES PROVIDE VITAL SPIRTUAL ACCOMPANIMENT FOR PEOPLE EXPERIENCING MENTAL ILLNESS, AS WELL AS THOSE WHO CARE FOR THEM.

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

Organizations making reference to Lubavitch, Chabad, Yeshiva, and Torah should also be classified here, but not necessarily those mentioning Israel, Hebrew, and Shalom.

The goal of this organization is to are responsible for the control and extinction of fires; and the inspection of buildings, hillside property and industrial plants to ensure compliance with fire codes.

ELECTRIC CITY TROLLEY MUSEUM ASSOCIATION SUPPORTS THE LACKAWANNA COUNTY ELECTRIC CITY TROLLEY STATION AND MUSEUM SUPPLYING TRAINED MOTORMEN, CURATING MUSEUM EXHIBITS AND PROVIDING HISTORICAL KNOWLEDGE.
