THE MISSION OF THE COOPERATIVE IS TO PROVIDE ELECTRIC SERVICE TO THE MEMBERS OF THE COOPERATIVE IN THE NINE COUNTIES OF SOUTHERN OHIO. THE COOPERATIVE IS A MEMBER-OWNED, LOCALLY MANAGED AND DEMOCRATICALLY- CONTROLLED UTILITY WITH ROOTS GOING BACK TO THE MID-1930S.

Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

TO PROVIDE SAFE, ECONOMICALLY SOUND, COMPETITIVE FINANCIAL SERVICES TO MEET THE NEEDS OF MEMBERS IN AN EFFICIENT, CONVENIENT AND PERSONALIZED MANNER.

MARY RUTAN HEALTH ASSOCIATION IS A NONPROFIT HEALTH CARE FACILITY IN BELLEFONTAINE, OHIO. IT SERVES LOGAN AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES. THE HEALTH ASSOCIATION PROVIDES COMMUNITY SERVICES TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC AND ENHANCE THE HEALTH OF THE COMMUNITIES IT SERVES. THESE SERVICES INCLUDE HEALTH SCREENINGS, HEALTH FAIRS, CORPORATE HEALTH SERVICES, AND CARDIAC REHAB AND RESPIRATORY CARE IN SUPPORT OF MARY RUTAN HOSPITAL.
