AN ALL-VOLUNTEER, NON-PROFIT GROUP DEDICATED TO THE DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF THE NORTH COAST INLAND TRAIL IN HURON COUNTY. THE ORGANIZATION DEVELOPS, MAINTAINS AND PROMOTES THE TRAIL.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the organizations like chambers of commerce, business leagues and commercial trade associations whose members are businessmen and women and merchants who have affiliated for the purpose of promoting the general commercial interests of the community or the interests of their own trade. [Many of these are found in section 501(c)(6) business leagues; and 501(c)(6) chambers of commerce.]

The goal of this organization is to protect our natural resources from abuse, neglect, waste or exploitation and preserve their availability for future generations.

THE MISSION OF THE SOCIETY IS TO APPROACH FAMILIES IN NEED LIVING IN OUR COMMUNITY, TO HELP SOLVE THEIR PROBLEMS BY HOME VISITS, ASSISTING IN THEIR IMMEDIATE NEEDS, AND MAKING REFERRALS TO FIND LONG TERM SOLUTIONS. ASSISTANCE OF FOOD, CLOTHING, AND SHELTER, ETC. IS GIVEN TO NEEDY FAMILIES.

PERSONS IN NEED WHO RESIDE IN HURON COUNTY AND NEIGHBORING COMMUNITIES MAY SHOP FOR FREE CLOTHING. NEED IS DEFINED BY ANYONE WHO CANNOT AFFORD TO PURCHASE CLOTHING OR FINDS IT A FINANCIAL STRAIN TO CLOTHE THEIR FAMILIES.
