THE LOCAL 4 MUSIC FUND IS ORGANIZED WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE OF 1986 FOR CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES TO RECEIVE CONTRIBUTIONS AND GRANTS FOR THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF PROMOTING AND FOSTERING THE KNOWLEDGE, APPRECIATION, UNDERSTANDING, ENJOYMENT, AND LIVE PERFORMANCE OF MUSIC.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to promote artistic expression within a particular ethnic community; work for the preservation and promotion of the traditions, values and lifestyles of different cultural groups; organize activities and events which promote cultural exchange locally or nationally; and encourage understanding and respect for different cultural heritages among the youthful members of the group as well as the mainstream population.

MISSION:

THE HAVEN HOME'S MISSION IS TO COMPASSIONATELY SERVE UNDER-RESOURCED WOMEN AND THEIR CHILDREN BY EMPOWERING SUSTAINABLE INDEPENDENCE. THE HAVEN HOME PROVIDES TEMPORARY HOUSING AND ASSET BUILDING PROGRAMS FOR HOMELESS FAMILIES.
