MISSION:

THE COMMUNITY LIFE COLLABORATIVE (CLC) IS ORGANIZED AND OPERATED FOR CHARITABLE, EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC PURPOSES. MORE SPECIFICALLY, IT IS DEDICATED TO FURTHERING EFFORTS IN SUPPORT OF SOCIAL JUSTICE AND ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY, WHILE PROMOTING COLLABORATIONS AND PARTNERSHIPS WITH LIKE-MINDED ORGANIZATIONS. THE CLC HAS TWO PRIMARY GOALS: ESTABLISH A COLLABORATIVE OF NONPROFITS WORKING TOGETHER TO CREATE SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL CHANGE AND PROMOTE SUSTAINABLE LIVING PRACTICES AND CLIMATE CHANGE ACTION ACROSS THE NORTHEAST OHIO REGION IN AN EFFORT TO CONNECT THE COMMUNITY AND PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT. THE MISSION OF THE CLC IS TO ENGAGE COMMUNITIES IN SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE BY EMPOWERING UNTAPPED RELATIONSHIPS, COLLABORATIONS, AND UNDERSTANDINGS ACROSS BOUNDARIES. IN 2022, THE CLC OFFERED PROGRAMS TO RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES THROUGH SEVERAL FORUMS. THE DEEP ROOTS INITIATIVE WAS FORMED - A COLLABORATIVE WITH ORGANIZATIONS WORKING WITH THE INC

The goal of this organization is to promote artistic expression within a particular ethnic community; work for the preservation and promotion of the traditions, values and lifestyles of different cultural groups; organize activities and events which promote cultural exchange locally or nationally; and encourage understanding and respect for different cultural heritages among the youthful members of the group as well as the mainstream population.

The goal of this organization is to make available to members and their guests and facilities for recreational activities, sports and games. Also included are social clubs that provide opportunities for people to meet and socialize with their peers at dances, parties, picnics, barbecues and other companionable events; and special interest clubs which enable people to share hobbies or other interests with individuals with those same interests.

Programs can include social and recreational activities for people who are recovering from surgery or a serious illnesses; supportive services for children who are ill and for their families which enable family members to remain with a child who is hospitalized; family and sibling support groups, and programs which attempt to make a gravely or terminally ill child’s final days, weeks and months more pleasant.
