The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to learn and become competitive in ice hockey, ice skating, alpine and cross-country skiing, sledding/tobogganing and other winter sports. Coaching; access to skating rinks, ski slopes or other facilities; sports equipment; and officials for competitions are generally included.

TO THAT END, NYCCO SEEKS TO ENHANCE THE LEVEL OF CARE FOR PATIENTS IN THE NEW YORK METROPOLITAN AREA SUFFERING FROM IBD, THROUGH COLLABORATIVE AND TRANSLATIONAL RESEARCH AND IMPROVED COOPERATION AMONGST IBD CLINICIANS IN THE NEW YORK AREA. NYCCO CAN BETTER ACHIEVE THIS GOAL BY GENERATING PUBLIC INTEREST IN IMPROVING TREATMENTS OR FINDING A CURE FOR THE DISEASE.
