Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

PROVIDE FOURTEEN (14) UNITS OF ONE-BEDROOM HOUSING FOR LOW-INCOME ELDERLY.

The goal of this organization is to build, rehabilitate, manage and/or provide rental housing for low-income individuals and families, older adults and people with disabilities; or which make purchasable housing available to low or moderate income families by offering lower priced housing and/or affordable payment plans, by arranging for interest or mortgage subsidies or by involving eventual owners in the construction process (sweat equity).

TO ADDRESS THE PROBLEMS OF VACANT, ABANDONED, OR TAX DELINQUENT PROPERTY. TO RETURN THAT PROPERTY TO PRODUCTIVE USE IN ORDER TO STRENGTHEN THE ECONOMY, IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE, AND IMPROVE THE FINANCIAL CONDITION OF THE MUNICIPALITY, THROUGH THE USE OF THE POWERS AND TOOLS GRANTED TO LAND BANKS BY NEW YORK STATE.
