HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF LONG ISLAND IS A NONPROFIT, ECUMENCIAL CHRISTIAN HOUSING MINISTRY THAT WORKS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH GOD AND PEOPLE EVERYWHERE, FROM ALL WALKS OF LIFE, TO DEVELOP COMMUNITIES WITH PEOPLE IN NEED BY BUILDING AND RENOVATING HOUSES SO THAT THERE ARE DECENT HOUSES IN DECENT COMMUNITIES IN WHICH EVERY PERSON CAN EXPERIENCE GOD'S LOVE AND CAN LIVE AND GROW INTO ALL THAT GOD INTENDS.HABITAT SEEKS TO ELIMINATE POVERTY HOUSING AND HOMELESSNESS FROM THE WORLD, AND TO MAKE DECENT SHELTER A MATTER OF CONSCIENCE AND ACTION.

MIDDLE ISLAND CARING FOR KIDS DAY CARE AND LEARNING CENTER IS A NOT-FOR PROFIT CHILDCARE FACILITY THAT HAS BEEN SERVICING THE LONGWOOD SCHOOL DISTRICT AND MIDDLE ISLAND COMMUNITY FOR OVER 30 YEARS.

THE MIDDLE ISLAND TEACHERS ASSO SUPPORTS THE TEACHERS OF THE LONGWOOD SCHOOL DIST, THE ORG PROVIDES MEMBERS WITH ASSIST WITH EMPLOYMENT ISSUES & CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS
