BASSETT REGIONAL CORPORATION WAS FORMED TO SUPPORT ORGANIZATIONS THAT QUALIFY AS 501(C)(3) EXEMPT CHARITABLE ENTITIES IN DELAWARE, SCHOHARIE, HERKIMER, MADISON, CHENANGO, AND OTSEGO COUNTIES.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is the operation of a symphony orchestra including youth symphonies.

The funds available to a community foundation are usually derived from many donors and held in an endowment that is independently administered; income earned by the endowment is then used to make grants.

Included are conservation of the nations forests, rangeland, vegetation, deserts, wild and scenic rivers and other wilderness areas and open land spaces; and reestablishment of areas that have been devastated by destructive activities such as strip mining or other destructive activities.

The goal of this organization is responsible for the conservation, protection, care and management of fish and wildlife resources and their habitats.
