CONNECT THE DIVERSE COMMUNITY WITH LIBRARY RESOURCES THAT ENRICH ENLIGHTEN AND ENTERTAIN. PROVIDE OPEN AND FREE ACCESS TO INFORMATION. DELIVERY TIMELY CONFIDENTIAL AND CUSTOMER ORIENTED SERVICES TO MEET THE INFORMATIONAL RECREATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITY

TO INCREASE ACCESS TO QUALITY AFFORDABLE HOUSING BY SUBSTANTIALLY INCREASING THE NUMBER OF UNITS BEING RENOVATED AND CONSTRUCTED EVERY YEAR, ENHANCE NEIGHBORHOOD FABRIC BY COORDINATING INVESTMENTS IN INFRASTRUCTURE AND REHABILITATE VACANT LOTS, PREVENT GENTRIFICATION AND DISPLACEMENT OF RESIDENTS BY ENSURING AFFORDABILITY OF BOTH RENTAL AND HOMEOWNER HOUSING UNITS, AND TO ACT AS A LAND BANK TO ACQUIRE VACANT HOUSING AND LOTS AND STABILIZE THEM IN PREPARATION FOR DEVELOPMENT.
