TO PROVIDE LEGAL SERVICES FOR CHILDREN IN APPROXIMATELY 6,000 CUSTODY/VISITATION AND RELATED FAMILY LAW CASES.

SINCE 1976 BAY RIDGE CENTER (BRC) HAS PROVIDED SERVICES AND PROGRAMS FOR OLDER ADULTS THAT PROMOTE THEIR WELL-BEING, SUPPORT THEIR INDEPENDENCE AND ENCOURAGE THEIR INVOLVEMENT IN THE BAY RIDGE COMMUNITY IN BROOKLYN, NEW YORK.

MISSION:

SINCE 1965 HEBREW ACADEMY FOR SPECIAL CHILDREN ("HASC") CONTINUES TO PROVIDE HIGH QUALITY SPECIAL EDUCATION AND THERAPEUTIC SERVICES TO CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS. SERVICES ARE PROVIDED AT 4 SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL SCHOOLS AS WELL AS HOME AND COMMUNITY-BASED SERVICES.

Programs can include social and recreational activities for people who are recovering from surgery or a serious illnesses; supportive services for children who are ill and for their families which enable family members to remain with a child who is hospitalized; family and sibling support groups, and programs which attempt to make a gravely or terminally ill child’s final days, weeks and months more pleasant. Also included are organizations that encourage new, foreign and independent filmmakers through the organization and presentation of film expositions and festivals or which show old or difficult to obtain films in noncommercial facilities.

BY MANAGING THE SCHOOLS' REAL ESTATE AND FACILITIES-RELATED NEEDS, AND BY RAISING FUNDS AND RESOURCES THAT WILL ENABLE THE CORPORATION TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO THE SCHOOLS TO ENHANCE THE EXPERIENCE OF THE SCHOOLS' STUDENTS.
