BOOKER T. WASHINGTON COMMUNITY CENTER OF AUBURN, NEW YORK, INC. IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES RECREATIONAL, SOCIAL AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES TO CHILDREN AND FAMILIES RESIDING IN AUBURN, NEW YORK.

TO HELP THE UNDERPRIVILEDGED BY PROVIDING BY PROVIDING COUNSELING, JOB TRAINING, RENTAL ASSISTANCE, AND HOUSING REHABILITATION TO QUALIFIED RESIDENTS.

EJG FOUNDATION IS A SUPPORTING ORGANIZATION OPERATING EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE BENEFIT AND SUPPORT OF THE UNITED CEREBRAL PALSY ASSOCIATION OF CAYUGA COUNTY, INC.

TO PROMOTE, SUPPORT AND INCREASE TOURISM AND THEREBY STIMULATE ECONOMIC GROWTH AND IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR AREA RESIDENTS.

Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

TYBURN ACADEMY BELIEVES THERE IS MUCH MORE TO EDUCATION THAN FACTS AND EQUATIONS. ITS GOAL IS TO ADDRESS THE WHOLE CHILD, HIS/HER MIND AND HEART. THE CURRICULUM CHALLENGES & PREPARES STUDENTS FOR EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL PURSUITS BEYOND THEIR SCHOOL YEARS.

MISSION:

OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR THOSE IN NEED SUCH AS CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS, YOUTH SPORTS TEAMS, VETERANS FAMILIES IN NEED AND PHYSICALLY HELP IN ANY COMMUNITY PROJECTS WE CAN. THE MEMBERSHIP GATHERS TOGETHER IN MONTHLY MEETINGS TO DISCUSS OUR ACTIVITY FOR EACH MONTH AND THEN WE PLAN ON HOW TO EXECUTE OUR PLANS IN CARRYING OUT OUR MISSION.

THE HARRIET TUBMAN HOME PROVIDES TOURS AND EXHIBITS OF THE HOME WHERE HARRIET TUBMAN LIVED, ALONG WITH PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND EVENTS TO ENLIGHTEN

THE AMERICAN FEDERATION OF TEACHERS IS A UNION OF PROFESSIONALS THAT CHAMPIONS FAIRNESS; DEMOCRACY; ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY; AND HIGH-QUALITY PUBLIC EDUCATION, HEALTHCARE AND PUBLIC SERVICES FOR OUR STUDENTS, THEIR FAMILIES AND OUR COMMUNITIES.

The goal of this organization is to build, rehabilitate, manage and/or provide rental housing for low-income individuals and families, older adults and people with disabilities; or which make purchasable housing available to low or moderate income families by offering lower priced housing and/or affordable payment plans, by arranging for interest or mortgage subsidies or by involving eventual owners in the construction process (sweat equity).

TO RAISE FUNDS AND PROVIDE UNDERSTANDING OF HOSPICE AND PALLIATIVE CARE SERVICES IN OUR COMMUNITY.

MISSION:

HOMSITE FUND IS A NONPROFIT COMMUNITY BASED DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION FOCUSED ON PROVIDING HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT SERVICES GEARED TO IMPROVING THE LIVES OF LOW AND MODERATE INCOME PERSONS LIVING IN THE CITY OF AUBURN.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the organizations like chambers of commerce, business leagues and commercial trade associations whose members are businessmen and women and merchants who have affiliated for the purpose of promoting the general commercial interests of the community or the interests of their own trade. [Many of these are found in section 501(c)(6) business leagues; and 501(c)(6) chambers of commerce.]

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide services for the mutual aid and benefit of their members; that ordinarily have a lodge system whereby activities are carried out under a form of organization that comprises local branches, chartered by a parent organization and largely self-governing, and that make provision for the payment of death benefits, and for benefits in case of accident, sickness, or old age. This code is used exclusively for organizations exempt from federal taxes under 501(c)(8) of the Internal Revenue Code.
