TO SUPPORT STUDENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY AND SUPPORT THE NM HIGHLANDS UNIVERSITY AS A WHOLE THROUGH THE ACQUISITION, DEVELOPMENT, AND ADMINISTRATION OF FINANCIAL AND OTHER RESOURCES.

THE MUTUAL BENEFIT AND COOPERATION OF ITS MEMBERS TO AQUIRE, FURNISH, PROVIDE FOR AND DISTRIBUTE WATER TO THE LANDS OF THE MEMBERS.

MISSION:

THE NEW MEXICO ELKS ASSOCIATION(NMEA) IS THE UMBRELLA ORGANIZATION UNDER WHICH THE STATE'S 22 B.P.O. ELKS LODGES OPERATE. THE NMEA MANAGES THE CEREBAL PALSY, VETERANS' SERVICE AND CHARITABLE AND BENEVOLENT TRUST AS ITS THREE MAJOR CHARITABLE AND BENEVOLENT PROGRAMS, AS WELL AS OVERSEEING THE NATIONAL B.P.O. ELKS PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION AT THE LOCAL LEVELS.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that use a bulk of their resources to provide charitable services or run charitable programs of their own. They make few, if any, grants to outside organizations and, like private independent foundations, they generally do not raise funds from the public.

SAMARITAN HOUSE EMBRACES THE MISSION OF PROVIDING TEMPORARY SHELTER, FOOD, AND HOUSEHOLD ASSISTANCE FOR THOSE IN NEED IN THE LAS VEGAS COMMUNITY AND SURROUNDING AREA, IN COOPERATION WITH OTHER AGENCIES, INCLUDING PUBLIC, PRIVATE NON-PROFIT AND FAITH-BASED AGENCIES WITH SIMILAR OBJECTIVES.

PROVISION OF PET FOOD, STRAW, FENCING, SHELTERS, ETC. COMMUNITY EDUCATION ON HUMANE TREATMENT OF ANIMALS, INCLUDING REQUIREMENTS OF NEW MEXICO STATUTES, AND CITY AND COUNTY ANIMAL ORDINANCES.
