THE MIDLAND SCHOOL IS AN APPROVED NOT-FOR-PROFIT NEW JERSEY DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION SCHOOL. THE MIDLAND SCHOOL PROVIDES AN EXTRAORDINARY LEVEL OF QUALITY, HIGHLY INDIVIDUALIZED AND INNOVATIVE EDUCATIONAL SERVICES.

MISSION:

GIRL SCOUTS HEART OF NEW JERSEY ("GSHNJ") PROVIDES NEARLY 12,000 GIRLS AN EXCEPTIONAL GIRL SCOUT EXPERIENCE THROUGHOUT ESSEX, HUDSON, HUNTERDON, SOMERSET, UNION, SOUTHERN WARREN, AND PARTS OF MIDDLESEX COUNTIES. GSHNJ BELIEVES IN THE POWER OF EVERY GIRL. WITH UNIQUE OPPORTUNITIES, OUR GIRL SCOUTS EXPLORE, LEARN, SUCCEED AND TAKE ACTION TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THEIR COMMUNITIES. GIRL SCOUTS ARE THE DREAMERS AND THE DOERS WHO "MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE."IN 2022, GSHNJ GIRL SCOUTS PERFORMED NEARLY 35,000 HOURS OF COMMUNITY SERVICE THROUGH PARTICIPATION IN GSHNJ'S "HEARTS OF SERVICE" PROGRAM, BY EARNING A BRONZE, SILVER OR GOLD AWARD, AND BY PARTICIPATING IN GIRL-LED TROOP PROJECTS.

MISSION:

MIDLAND ADULT SERVICES FOCUSES ON THE TRANSITION FROM SCHOOL TO ADULT LIFE BY PROVIDING RESIDENTIAL HOUSING, COMMUNITY AND LIFE SKILLS TRAINING, JOB TRAINING AND PLACEMENT, DAY AND SOCIAL/RECREATIONAL EXPERIENCES TO SUPPORT AND ENRICH THE LIVES OF ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES.

MISSION:

THE MIDLAND FOUNDATION RAISES FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE PROGRAMS AND SERVICES OF THE MIDLAND CORPORATION. MIDLAND PROVIDES A LIFETIME OF CARING FOR INDIVIVUALS WITH INTELLECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES.

MISSION:

THE FOUNDATION WAS CREATED TO PRESERVE, SUPPORT, AND PROMOTE THE SOMERSET COUNTY PARK COMMISSION PROGRAMS, FACILITIES, AND OPEN SPACE THROUGH ADVOCACY AND FUNDRAISING.

These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

TO TEACH LOCAL YOUTH THE FUNDAMENTALS OF BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL WHILE ENCOURAGING SPORTSMANSHIP, DISCIPLINE, SELF CONFIDENCE, TEAM WORK, AND RESPECT FOR THE GAME AND OTHERS.

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn, become competitive in and enjoy the organized recreational activity, sport or game of their choice. These programs may be offered by local clubs devoted to a particular activity or sport; may provide individual or team coaching assistance or instruction, access to equipment and facilities, and uniforms, if necessary; and may sponsor or make arrangements for athletes to participate in amateur competitions, usually at the local or regional level, and provide officials for games. These events are generally for the enjoyment of the athletes and are not at a high enough competitive level to be considered spectator sports.
