TO UNITE ITS MEMBERS IN HELPING SUPPORT SPECIAL GROUPS OF PEOPLE NEEDING IMMEDIATE FINANCIAL AND MEDICAL ASSISTANCE SUCH AS VICTIMS OF NATURAL DISASTERS. TO MAKE DISTRIBUTIONS TO ORGANIZATIONS THAT QUALIFY AS EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS UNDER SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE OF 1954, OR THE CORRESPONDING PROVISIONS OF ANY FUTURE UNITED STATES INTERNAL REVENUE LAW. TO ENCOURAGE MEMBERS TO ENGAGE IN PROJECTS THAT WILL DIRECTLY BENEFIT THE UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES, COLLEGE OF MEDICINE AND THE PHILIPPINE GENERAL HOSPITAL-UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES SYSTEM.
