LEES-MCRAE COLLEGE EDUCATES AND INSPIRES STUDENTS TO APPROACH LIFE AND WORK FROM A CREATIVE, COLLABORATIVE, AND CRITICAL PERSPECTIVE IN PREPARATION FOR DIVERSE CAREERS AND ENVIRONMENTS

MISSION:

PRIVATE SOCIAL CLUB OPERATING FOR THE RECREATIONAL AND SOCIAL PURPOSES OF ITS MEMBERS.

MISSION:

FOSCOE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPT WAS ORGANIZED IN MARCH 1971 TO PROTECT THE HOMES AND PROPERTY OF THE CITIZENS OF THE FOSCOE COMMUNITY. CURRENTLY THERE IS A FIRST RESPONDERS UNIT IN ADDITION TO FIREFIGHTING.

MISSION:

TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR AN AMBULANCE TO BE STATIONED IN BANNER ELK, NC. THE FUNDS WILL BE USED TO PROVIDE A FULL TIME AMBULANCE STAFF AND HOUSING FOR THE STAFF AND EQUIPMENT. PART OF THE FUNDS ARE PROVIDED BY AVERY COUNTY, NC.

PROVIDE FOOD AT NO COST TO HUNGRY PEOPLE IN NEED IN AVERY COUNTY, NC AND IMPROVE THEIR HEALTH WHERE POSSIBLE

ACQUIRE AND OPERATE A CHRISTIAN CAMP FOR THE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH AS WELL AS OTHER CHRISTIAN CHURCHES THAT MAY WANT TO ATTEND AND FOR ADULT CHRISTIAN RETREATS.

The goal of this organization is to sponsor, organize and promote fairs and festivals. Includes collectible/antique fairs, county and state fairs, street fairs, festivals, parades, and other similar activities during religious and patriotic holidays and other special occasions.
