MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

MISSION:

THE MISSION OF THE BLACKFOOT CHALLENGE IS TO COORDINATE EFFORTS THAT WILL CONSERVE AND ENHANCE THE NATURAL RESOURCES AND RURAL WAY OF LIFE IN THE BLACKFOOT WATERSHED FOR PRESENT AND FUTURE GENERATIONS.

MISSION:

TO IDENTIFY, DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT PROJECTS THAT CONSERVE AND ENHANCE THE COLD WATER FISHERY OF THE BLACKFOOT RIVER AND ITS TRIBUTARIES, WHILE PRESERVING THE EXISTING CHARACTER OF THE WATERSHED IN COOPERATION WITH THE LANDOWNERS AND USERS OF THE WATERSHED.

ORGANIZATION OF CONCERNED AND ACTIVE CONSERVATIONISTS WHO PROMOTE PROPER MANGEMENT OF MONTANA'S FUR BEARERS, WHO DEVELOP PROPER PREDATOR CONTROL, MAINTAIN A POSIVIE PUBLIC IMAGE AND HELP PERPETUATE QUALITY HABITAT.

The goal of this organization is to acquire, preserve, research and exhibit collections of objects including documents, tools, implements and furnishings that have significance in helping to interpret or understand the past.
