CROSSROADS REAL ESTATE IS ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES IN SUPPORT OF CROSSROADS CHARTER SCHOOLS THAT PREPARE AND INSPIRE STUDENTS TO BUILD A BETTER TOMORROW BY PROVIDING AN ACADEMICALLY RIGOROUS K-12 EDUCATION IN A CREATIVE, COLLABORATIVE, COMMUNITY-FOCUSED ENVIRONMENT.

The goal of this organization is to train people in the specific skills they will need to obtain employment in a particular industry or which provide work experience for youth or others who have no employment history.

PROVIDES QUALITY EDUCATION AND THERAPY SERVICES TO CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS AND THOSE WHO ARE SHAPING THE FUTURE OF CHILDREN THROUGH QUALITY EARLY EDUCATION AND THERAPEUTIC INTERVENTION WHILE TEACHING COMPASSION FOR DIVERSITY.

MISSION:

CASA IS A UNIQUE NON-PROFIT HELPING ABUSED AND NEGLECTED CHILDREN IN THE JACKSON COUNTY FAMILY COURT SYSTEM. OUR TEAM OF TRAINED VOLUNTEERS,STAFF CASE SUPERVISORS, AND STAFF ATTORNEYS ALLOW EACH CHILD TO BE REPRESENTED IN A COURT OF LAW WITH A VOICE.

MISSION:

PROVIDES RAPID REHOUSING PROGRAMS FOR HOMELESS FAMILIES IN KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI. OTHER ACTIVITIES INCLUDE TRAINING AND EDUCATION REGARDING BUDGETING, LIFE SKILL TRAINING FOR BOTH ADULTS AND CHILDREN, SHORT AND LONG TERM GOAL PLANNING, AND HEALTHY LIFESTYLES, AS WELL AS COUNSELING AND THERAPY FOR BOTH CHILDREN AND ADULTS DUE TO HOMELESSNESS.

THE MISSION OF KC SCHOLARS IS TO INCREASE POSTSECONDARY EDUCATION AND CREDENTIAL ATTAINMENT OF LOW- AND MODERATE-INCOME ADULTS AND TO SIGNIFICANTLY EXPAND THE NUMBER OF ADULTS WHO SECURE FAMILY-SUSTAINING CAREERS.

PREP-KC FOCUSES ON CREATING AND IMPLEMENTING STRATEGIES THAT HELP STUDENTS ATTENDING KANSAS CITY'S BI-STATE URBAN SCHOOL DISTRICTS SUCCEED IN POSTSECONDARY EDUCATION AND THEIR CAREERS. PREP-KC WORKS WITH THESE URBAN DISTRICTS TO SUPPORT AT-SCALE IMPROVEMENTS IN UNDERSERVED STUDENTS' OUTCOMES, MOST OF WHOM ARE FIRST-GENERATION COLLEGE-GOERS. IN ADDITION, PREP-KC INVESTS IN RESEARCH-BASED STRATEGIES THAT WILL PREPARE STUDENTS FOR CAREERS IN HIGH-DEMAND, WELL-PAYING JOBS IN THE KANSAS CITY REGION. PREP-KC PARTNERS WITH SIX SCHOOL DISTRICTS AND FOUR CHARTER SCHOOLS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE STATE LINE. TOGETHER, THESE DISTRICTS SERVE 66,000 STUDENTS AND PRODUCE OVER 3,800 ANNUAL HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES; 80% IDENTIFY AS STUDENTS OF COLOR, AND 82% ARE LOW-INCOME. MANY OF OUR STUDENTS LIVE IN HISTORICALLY UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES, AND PREP-KC'S PARTNER SCHOOLS SERVE 19 OF THE 20 ZIP CODES WITH THE LOWEST MEDIAN HOUSEHOLD INCOME IN THE 9-COUNTY METROPOLITAN AREA.
