THE ALLIANCE IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT PROMOTES COMMUNITY OUTREACH, ORGANIZES EDUCATIONAL AND INTERPRETIVE PROGRAMS, UNDERTAKES HABITAT CONSERVATION AND ADVOCACY FOR THE REFUGE, COORDINATES VOLUNTEERS, ORGANIZES SPECIAL EVENTS, AND HELPS WITH FUNDRAISING.
