FEMS FOR DEMOCRACY'S OBJECTIVES INCLUDE PROMOTING COMMUNITY WELFARE AND PROVIDING COMMUNITY EDUCATION IN MICHIGAN BY INCREASING VOTER PARTICIPATION THROUGH RESEARCH, VOTER EDUCATION, VOTER REGISTRATION, AND VOTER MOBILIZATION; INCREASING VOTER AWARENESS OF PUBLIC POLICY ISSUES THROUGH EDUCATIONAL MEANS; DEFENDING HUMAN AND CIVIL RIGHTS SUCH AS THE RIGHT TO VOTE.
