THE TD BEACH TO BEACON 10K, INC.'S MISSION IS THE PROMOTION AND ENCOURAGEMENT OF LONG-DISTANCE RUNNING AND THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC OF ITS BENEFITS IN CONJUNCTION WITH AN ANNUAL 10 KILOMETER ROAD RACE, HIGH SCHOOL MILE AND KID'S FUN RUN. DURING 2021, THE RACE WAS HELD VIRTUALLY.

The goal of this organization are the organizations like chambers of commerce, business leagues and commercial trade associations whose members are businessmen and women and merchants who have affiliated for the purpose of promoting the general commercial interests of the community or the interests of their own trade. [Many of these are found in section 501(c)(6) business leagues; and 501(c)(6) chambers of commerce.]

THE PRINCIPAL PURPOSE OF THE DISTRICT IS TO ACT AS A LIAISON BETWEEN ROTARY INTERNATIONAL AND THE INDIVIDUAL ROTARY CLUBS WITHIN THE GEOGRAPHIC AREA OF COASTAL NEW HAMPSHIRE AND SOUTHWESTERN MAINE. THE DISTRICT ALSO MAINTAINS A FUND WHICH SUPPORTS CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES OF THE ROTARY FOUNDATION AT THE DISTRICT LEVEL, AND PROMOTES FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES FOR THE ROTARY FOUNDATION.
