AT NEWFIELD, THERE ARE WORKSHOPS FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS YEAR- ROUND; THERE IS A SCHOOL FIELD TRIP PROGRAM THAT SERVES MORE THAN TWO DOZEN SCHOOLS. FIELDS POND IS DEVELOPING SIMILAR OPPORTUNITIES. SEASONAL EVENTS AT BOTH CAMPUSES INCLUDE MAPLE SUGARING, ICE HARVESTING, ANTIQUE TRACTORS AND MACHINERY, HORSE DRAWN SLEDS, WOODWORKING, BLACKSMITHING AND DOMESTIC ARTS. GREATER EMPHASIS IS ON FEATURING WORKSHOPS AND PROGRAMMING THAT HAS SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY LEARNING OBJECTIVES.
