MISSION:

THE MISSION OF THE WHEATON VOLUNTEER RESCUE SQUAD (WVRS) IS TO PROTECT THE PUBLICS HEALTH AND SAFETY IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICES. THE WVRS IS A VOLUNTEER, NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION THAT PROVIDES EMERGENCY SERVICES TO ANY PERSON IN NEED.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. The goal of this organization is to provide supportive services for individuals and families who are homeless or which work with people who are at risk for homelessness in an effort to prevent them from losing their permanent residence.
