Also included are social clubs that provide opportunities for people to meet and socialize with their peers at dances, parties, picnics, barbecues and other companionable events; and special interest clubs which enable people to share hobbies or other interests with individuals with those same interests.

FRIENDS OF CALVERT COUNTY SENIORS PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO LOW INCOME SENIORS WITH DENTAL CARE AND SMALL GRANTS THAT ARE NOT OTHERWISE PROVIDED THROUGH ANY GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS. WE WORK CLOSELY WITH OFFICE ON AGING, SOCIAL SERVICES, AND THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT TO IDENTIFY NEEDY SENIORS.

THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES A STRUCTURED SETTING FOR IMPAIRED ADULTS TO OBTAIN MEDICAL AND SOCIAL THERAPY, RECREATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES, AND NUTRITIONAL SUPERVISION.
