Included are conservation of the nations forests, rangeland, vegetation, deserts, wild and scenic rivers and other wilderness areas and open land spaces; and reestablishment of areas that have been devastated by destructive activities such as strip mining or other destructive activities.

THE MEMBERS ARE COMPRISED OF BUSINESSES, NON-PROFIT ORGANIZARTIONS, INDIVIDUALS, AND THE ISLAND BUSINESS COMMUNITY AS A WHOLE. THE CHAMBER PROMOTES THE HISTORIC, CULTURAL, AND RECREATIONAL FEATURES THAT POSITION NANTUCKET AS A PRIME TOURIST DESTINATION.

MISSION:

TO EDUCATE AND ENCOURAGE PROPERTY OWNERS AS TO WHAT IS POSSIBLE TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT THE HISTORICAL ELEMENTS OF THEIR PROPERTIES AND TO RAISE AWARENESS OF THE COMMUNITY ABOUT THE VALUE OF AND NEED FOR HISTORIC ARCHITECTURAL PRESERVATION.
