MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

TO ADVANCE EDUCATIONAL EQUITY BY SUPPORTING YOUTH IN THEIR ACADEMIC, PERSONAL AND SOCIAL GROWTH THROUGH FREE, INDIVIDUALIZED TUTORING, MENTORING AND ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS

A SOCIAL CLUB WITH MEMBERS CONSISTING OF CURRENT AND FORMER STUDENTS AT HARVARD UNIVERSITY. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED MEALS, EVENTS, AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES ON APPROXIMATELY 100 OCCASIONS TO MORE THAN 75 UNDERGRADUATE AND 1,400 GRADUATE MEMBERS.

TO PROVIDE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC TO LEARN ROWING AND OFFER FREE USE ROWING CLASSES FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS FROM MA COMMUNITIES OF SOMERVILLE, MALDEN AND EVERETT.

TO PROVIDE LOW-INCOME DISABLED INDIVIDUALS WITH HOUSING IN A SPECIALLY DESIGNED ENVIRONMENT TO MEET THEIR NEEDS AND PROMOTE HEALTH, HAPPINESS AND SECURITY ON A NON-PROFIT BASIS SUFFICIENT TO MAINTAIN AND OPERATE THE HOME.
