ITS PRIMARY FOCUS IS TO SUPPORT THE GOVERNMENT'S SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OBJECTIVES BY CONNECTING THE ENTREPRENEURIAL, INNOVATION AND BUSINESS ACUMEN OF THE PRIVATE SECTOR WITH THE TECHNICAL RESEARCH CAPABILITIES OF ACADEMIC RESEARCHERS AND GOVERNMENT LABORATORIES TO DELIVER ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY FASTER, CHEAPER AND BETTER TO BENEFIT BOTH THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
