OPERATE A PUBLIC COMMUNITY CENTER, KNOWN AS FIVE POINTS WASHINGTON, FOR SPORTS, RECREATIONAL, CIVIC, EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL ACTIVITIES IN AND AROUND THE WASHINGTON, ILLINOIS AREA.

MISSION:

TO PROVIDE QUALITY GOVERNMENT SUBSIDIZED HOUSING TO SENIOR CITIZENS AND DISABLED PERSONS AT AFFORDABLE RATES, WITH ATTRACTIVE AMENITITES, INCLUDING PRIVATE PATIOS, PORCH AND WALKING PATH AROUND ENTIRE 16 BUILDING COMPLEX. GROUND IS AVAILABLE TO PLANT FLOWERS AND A GARDEN. EACH BUILDING CONTAINS WASHER/DRYER FACILITIES.

MISSION:

THE WASHINGTON FIRE DEPARTMENT PROVIDES FIRE PROTECTION AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES TO THE CITIZENS OF THE WASHINGTON AREA WITH THE HIGHEST QUALITY SERVICES THAT ANSWER THE NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITY. PRESERVING LIFE AND PROPERTY IS THE DEPARTMENTS NUMBER ONE GOAL.

TRAVEL TO CLINICS IN HAITI AND IDENTIFY PEOPLE IN NEED OF SURGURY, MEDICAL CARE, MEDICINE, HOSPITAL ARRANGMENTS, HOST FAMILIES, FINANCIAL RELIEF FOR FAMILIES OF PATIENTS.

WHILE MAINTAINING A MUSEUM IS A PARTIAL FOCUS, WASHINGTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY MAINTAINS A LIBRARY WITH SIGNIFICANT RECORDS, ALLOWING GENEALOGY RESEARCH AS WELL AS EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS SUCH AS TIME TRAVELS IN TRUCKS AND TRUNKS TO THE LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICTS. WASHINGTON HISTORICAL SOCIETY ALSO PROVIDES FREE PRESENTATIONS AND PROGRAMS TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC FOR HISTORICAL INTEREST AND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to learn and become competitive in archery; fly or bait fishing; game bird, game fowl, or game animal hunting; fox hunting; and/or the use of firearms on the target range.

The goal of this organization is to provide a temporary place to stay for newcomers, travelers, people who are in crisis, or homeless individuals in the community.

THE WASHINGTON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IS THE MOTIVATING FORCE IN COORDINATING, LEADING, AND PROMOTING EXISTING AND FUTURE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, ECONOMIC DIVERSITY, AND TOURISM. THE CHAMBER STRIVES TO ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE THROUGH PROGRAMS, SERVICES, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, RECOGNITION, AND PRIDE.
