THE NORTHEAST GEORGIA LOCALLY GROWN PROGRAM HOSTS FARMERS MARKETS THAT CONNECT THE PUBLIC TO WITH LOCAL FOOD FROM DOZENS OF SMALL FARMS WITHIN 80 MILES COMMITTED TO CHEMICAL-FREE GROWING PRACTICES. THE EDUCATIONL FARM TOURS PROGRAM PROVIDE A VARIETY OF DIFFERENT KINDS OF FARMS, LIKE SMALL, WORKING FARMS WITH LIMITED TIME AND MANPOWER TO FARMS WHO GROW FOOD WITHOUT SYNTHETIC CHEMICALS. OUR MAIN GOALS ARE TO:HELP LOCAL RESIDENTS LEARN WHO, WHY, WHEN, AND WHERE LOCAL FOOD COMES FROM, CONNECT FOLKS WITH THOSE CURRENTLY PRODUCING FOOD IN YOUR COMMUNITY AND PR
