THE CENTER FOR CIVIC INNOVATION'S MISSION IS TO INCREASE CIVIC PARTICIPATION, THROUGH PUBLIC PROGRAMS AND POLICY RESEARCH, AND ELEVATE MORE EFFECTIVE SOLUTIONS, THROUGH TRAININGS AND SUPPORT SERVICES FOR CIVIC LEADERS, ENTREPRENEURS, AND MOVEMENT BUILDERS.

THE NICHOLAS HOUSE MISSION IS TO HELP HOMELESS FAMILIES ACHIEVE SELF- SUFFICIENCY. WE DO SO BY PROVIDING A TEMPORARY PLACE TO LIVE WHILE ADDRESSING THE ROOTS CAUSES OF WHY A FAMILY IS HOMELESS SO THEY MAY NEVER BE HOMELESS AGAIN.

THE ORGANIZATIN PROVIDES ESSENTIAL HOUSEHOLD FURNITURE TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES MOVING OUT OF HOMELESSNESS, BATTLING HIV/AIDS, AND FLEEING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

PROMOTE THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE UN CONVENTION ON THE RIGHTS OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES TO DIGITAL ACCESSIBILITY, PARTICIPATE IN INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCES AND SEMINARS WITH REGULATORS, INDUSTRY, CIVIL SOCIETY, AND DISABLED PERSONS ORGANIZATIONS.

TO DEVELOP CHILDREN SOCIALLY, EMOTIONALLY, AND COGNITIVELY, TO ENCOURAGE THEIR CURIOSITY, AND TO HELP THEM REALIZE THEIR FULL POTENTIAL. WE DEFINE QUALITY AS AN ENVIRONMENT THAT INSPIRES CHILDREN'S NATURAL CURIOSITY AND BELIEVE CHILDREN LEARN BEST THROUGH DOING. WE PARTNER WITH FAMILIES TO SUPPORT THEM IN THEIR ROLE AS THEIR CHILD'S FIRST AND MOST IMPORTANT TEACHERS AND BELIEVE THAT THROUGH THIS PARTNERSHIP WE CREATE A FOUNDATION FOR A CHILD'S FUTURE SUCCESS.

Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

The goal of this organization is to raise and distribute funds for multiple organizations within the Science and Technology Research Institutes, Services major group area.

THE MAJOR PROGRAM IS PROJECT SUCCESS. THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR COLLEGE PREPARATORY AND TUITION ASSISTANCE. ALSO, EXPOSES STUDENTS TO STEM.
