WOMEN'S RECOVERY RESIDENCE FOR ALCOHOLICS AND ADDICTS - WE PROVIDE A "SAFE" RECOVERY ENVIRONMENT FOR WOMEN WHO ARE TRYING TO GET SOBER AND CLEAN.

The goal of this organization are the organizations like chambers of commerce, business leagues and commercial trade associations whose members are businessmen and women and merchants who have affiliated for the purpose of promoting the general commercial interests of the community or the interests of their own trade. [Many of these are found in section 501(c)(6) business leagues; and 501(c)(6) chambers of commerce.]

THE ORGANIZATIONS MISSION IS TO PROVIDE EDUCATION AND RESOURCES IN ORDER TO SHAPE STUDENTS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA INTO PREMIER BUSINESS LEADERS.

CANOPY STUDIO, A NON-PROFIT COMMUNITY ARTS CENTER, IS DEDICATED TO ENRICHING THE CULTURE OF OUR COMMUNITY AND THE LIVES OF INDIVIDUALS THROUGH AERIAL DANCE, MOVEMENT EDUCATION AND PERFORMANCE ARTS.

The goal of this organization is to develop, rehabilitate, manage and/or provide rental housing that is available to people who qualify on the basis of income, age or disability for publicly subsidized housing e.g., HUD housing or housing assistance under Section 8 of the Housing and Urban Development Act.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

BOOKS FOR KEEPS INC WORKS TO IMPROVE CHILDREN'S READING ACHIEVEMENT BY ADDRESSING BARRIERS RELATED TO THE ACCESSIBILITY AND APPEAL OF READING MATERIAL. THE ORGANIZATION GIVES BOOKS TO CHILDREN WHOSE READING OPPORTUNITIES OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL MIGHT BE OTHERWISE LIMITED DUE TO INCOME, GEORGRAPHY, OR OTHER FACTORS.
