MISSION:

PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO MAKE THE VILLAGES A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE; WHERE RESIDENT ARE RESPECTED AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS ARE RESPONSIVE TO THE NEEDS OF THE RESIDENTS THROUGH EDUCATION, RESEARCH AND REPRESENTATION. WE PUBLISH AND DISTRIBUTE A MONTHLY NEWSPAPER TO APPROXIMATELY 130,000 RESIDENTS. THE PROPERTY OWNERS' ASSOCIATION FUNCTIONS AS A "WATCHDOG" ORGANIZATION OVERSEEING THE ACTIONS OF THE DEVELOPER AND OUR LOCAL GOVERNMENTS. MEMBERSHIP IS OPEN TO ALL VILLAGES RESIDENTS.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.

MISSION:

VOLUNTEER ONE-ON-ONE TUTORING IN LOCAL SCHOOLS (11 ELEMENTARY AND 1 MIDDLE SCHOOL) - FOR READING AND MATH. DISTRIBUTING NEW BOOKS TO THE CHILDREN IN THE SCHOOLS WHERE WE TUTOR.

TO ENSURE THAT SEVERELY INJURED VETERANS RECEIVE THE SERVICES AND TOOLS NEEDED TO BEGIN THEIR HEALING PROCESS, A RETURN TO NORMALCY AND AN INDEPENDENT LIFESTYLE. WE ARE ESTABLISHED TO ADDRESS THE GREAT NEED FOR RESOURCES TO SUPPORT VETERANS WHO SUSTAINED CATASTROPHIC INJURIES

THE QUILTING GUILD OF THE VILLAGES PROVIDES THE RESOURCES NEEDED TO CREATE A FUN, PRODUCTIVE AND EDUCATIONAL QUILTING ENVIRONMENT FOR OUR MEMBERS. IN KEEPING WITH OUR STATUS AS A 501(C)(4) NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION, THE GUILD AND ITS MEMBERS ARE GENEROUS IN THEIR DONATIONS OF QUILTS AS WELL AS OTHER GOODS AND MONIES TO SUPPORT THOSE IN NEED. QUILTS OF VALOR, QUILTS FOR KIDS, THE FLORIDA SHERIFF'S YOUTH CAMP PROGRAMS, GUARDIAN AD LITEM AND MANY OTHER DESERVING ORGANIZATIONS ARE FAMILIAR WITH QGOTV.

TO CONNECT THE TIME TALENTS AND TREASURES OF VOLUNTEERS TO MEET THE NEEDS- BASIC, EDUCATIONAL & EMERGENCY OF THE CHILDREN LIVING IN ABJECT POVERTY IN THE OCALA NATIONAL FOREST.

PROGRAMS FOR MILITARY VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES. MODIFICATIONS AND PERSONALIZATIONS TO MOTORCYCLES FOR SEVERELY WOUNDED COMBAT VETERANS WHO WOULD OTHERWISE NOT HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPERIENCE THE FREE-SPIRITED NATURE AND CAMARADERIE OF MOTORCYCLING.
