MISSION:

THE ENDOWMENT FUND IS A SUPPORTING ORGANIZATION TO BAY VILLAGE OF SARASOTA, INC. (BAY VILLAGE), A NON-PROFIT, LIFECARE COMMUNITY WHICH CURRENTLY EXISTS AS AN INDEPENDENT LIVING, ASSISTED LIVING AND NURSING FACILITY TO PROVIDE ALL AGING RELATED SERVICES AND SENIOR SERVICES AS MAY NOW EXIST OR DEVELOP IN THE FUTURE, TO INCLUDE MEMORY CARE SERVICES. TO ACCOMPLISH THIS PURPOSE, THE ENDOWMENT FUND PROVIDES FUNDS, WHEN NECESSARY: TO ASSIST FINANCIALLY NEEDY BAY VILLAGE RESIDENTS WHO HAVE BECOME UNABLE TO PAY THROUGH NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN; TO ASSIST IN THE OPERATION, MAINTENANCE, GROWTH AND IMPROVEMENT OF ANY AND ALL OF THE OPERATIONS OF BAY VILLAGE NOW AND IN THE FUTURE; AND ANY ADDITIONAL PURPOSE TO HELP FULFILL BAY VILLAGE'S NON-PROFIT MISSION, MEETING THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTIONS 501(C)(3) AND 509 (A)(2) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE CODE OF 1986, AS AMENDED.THIS FUND WAS STARTED IN 1980 TO ADDRESS BAY VILLAGE'S COMMITMENT TO THE LIFECARE CONCEPT.

MISSION:

THE CHILD PROTECTION CENTER (CPC) OPERATES MULTIPLE PROGRAMS TO AID IN THE PREVENTION, INTERVENTION & TREATMENT OF CHILD ABUSE, BY PROVIDING THERAPY, EDUCATION, ASSESSING ALLEGATIONS, AND PROVIDING SAFE PLACES FOR CHILDREN TO VISIT PARENTS / CARETAKERS.

MISSION:

FORTY CARROTS FAMILY CENTER'S MISSION IS TO NURTURE HEALTHY CHILD AND FAMILY DEVELOPMENT THROUGH RESEARCH-BASED, RELATIONSHIP-CENTERED EDUCATION AND MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES.

MISSION:

TO ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR INDIVIDUALS BY ENCOURAGING INDEPENDENCE, CHAMPIONING INCLUSION, AND ADVOCATING FOR INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the nongovernmental, nonprofit organizations with funds (usually from a single source, such as an individual, family or corporation) and programs managed by its own trustees or directors, established to maintain or aid social, educational, religious or other charitable activities serving the common welfare, primarily through grantmaking.

MISSION:

JFCS GUIDED BY THE JEWISH TRADITION OF HELPING ALL PEOPLE, EMPOWERS INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES TOWARD SELF-SUFFICIENCY. JFCS PROVIDES COUNSELING SERVICES TO CHILDREN AND FAMILIES, YOUTH SERVICES TO STUDENTS AND TO AT-RISK CHILDREN AT SCHOOL OR IN THEIR HOME, POVERTY AND HOMELESSNESS REDUCTION SERVICES, SERVICES TO VETERANS AND SENIOR OUTREACH AND CAREGIVER SERVICES AS WELL AS BEREAVEMENT, INCLUDING HOSPITAL VISITATION SERVICES AND HOLOCAUST CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES TO THE JEWISH COMMUNITY. DURING THE PAST FISCAL PERIOD JFCS ENTERED INTO AN AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE CANCER SUPORT SERVICES TO PATIENTS AND THEIR CAREGIVERS WITH SARASOTA MEMORIAL HOSPITAL. JFCS ALSO EXPANDED ITS CRISIS TEAM SERVICES INTO MANATEE COUNTY.

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn, become competitive in and enjoy the organized recreational activity, sport or game of their choice. These programs may be offered by local clubs devoted to a particular activity or sport; may provide individual or team coaching assistance or instruction, access to equipment and facilities, and uniforms, if necessary; and may sponsor or make arrangements for athletes to participate in amateur competitions, usually at the local or regional level, and provide officials for games. These events are generally for the enjoyment of the athletes and are not at a high enough competitive level to be considered spectator sports.

THE BAY PARK CONSERVANCY (BPC) WAS FORMED TO IMPLEMENT THE MASTER PLAN APPROVED BY THE SARASOTA CITY COMMISSION TO CONSERVE 53 ACRES OF PUBLIC LAND FOR A SIGNATURE PARK ALONG SARASOTA BAY. THE BPC ENTERED A LONG-TERM PARTNERSHIP WITH THE CITY TO HELP FUND, DEVELOP, OPERATE, MAINTAIN AND PROGRAM THE SIGNATURE PARK FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY NOW, AND FOR GENERATIONS TO COME.

MISSION:

TO RECEIVE AND ADMINISTER GIFTS AND DONATIONS OF FUNDS AND PROPERTY AND INCOME GENERATED THEREFROM FOR CERTAIN GENERAL MISSION BENEVOLENCES, CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE CHURCH AND DIRECTLY RELATED FACILITIES. ALL FUNDS SHALL BE USED FOR PURPOSES PERMITTED UNDER SECTION 501(C)(3)

MISSION:

IN 2023, CHILDREN FIRST PROVIDED EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION AND FAMILY STRENGTHENING SERVICES TO 557 AT-RISK CHILDREN, AGES BIRTH TO 5, AND THEIR FAMILIES. CHILDREN RECEIVE HIGH QUALITY EDUCATION TO ENSURE HEALTHY DEVELOPMENT AND KINDERGARTEN READINESS.

The goal of this organization are the organizations, sometimes referred to as public charities, that derive their funding or support primarily from the general public in carrying out their social, educational, religious or other charitable activities serving the common welfare. Although public foundations may provide direct charitable services to the public as other nonprofits do, their primary focus is on grantmaking.

EASTER SEALS SOUTHWEST FLORIDA CREATES SOLUTIONS THAT CHANGE LIVES FOR CHILDREN, ADULTS, AND FAMILIES THROUGH HIGH QUALITY THERAPEUTIC, EDUCATIONAL, AND SUPPORT SERVICES.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to operate law enforcement associations, advisory councils or other nonprofit community groups that provide advice and direction for police departments; auxiliaries or other community-based organizations that collect and disburse money in aid of injured police officers or in support of local law enforcement activities; and other nonprofit groups that have an interest in law enforcement issues.

MISSION:

THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATON IS TO OPERATE AND MAINTAIN A 204 BED SKILLED NURSING FACILITY AND 39 BED ASSISTED LIVING FACILITY, PRIMARILY FOR AGED AND FINANCIALLY NEEDY RESIDENTS OF SARASOTA AND MANATEEE COUNTIES, FLORIDA. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES A DAY CARE PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN AND OPERATES 2 THRIFT SHOPS THAT SUPPORT THE ORGANIZATION.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.
