FOR OVER 60 YEARS, MHASWFL HAS WORKED TO ACHIEVE ITS MISSION THROUGH BROAD-BASED COMMUNITY PROGRAMS AND HAS CONNECTED MANY IN NEED OF MENTAL HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS. THIS HAS BEEN AND IS ACCOMPLISHED BY: 1. PROVIDING EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY TO THOSE IN NEED, 2. HELPING REDUCE MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS THROUGH PREVENTION, 3. PROVIDING RESOURCES TO HELP INDIVIDUALS DEAL WITH MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES, AND 4. INCREASING AWARENESS OF MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES.
