MISSION:

TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN A COMMUNITY-BASED PRENATAL AND INFANT HEALTH CARE COALITION THAT IS COMPRISED OF PERSONS REPRESENTING THE PUBLIC, PRIVATE SECTOR, STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNEMENT, PROVIDERS, COMMUNITY ALLIANCES AND MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH ORGANIZATIONS, THAT WILL IDENTIFY THE NEEDS OF SEMINOLE COUNTY, DEVISE AND IMPLEMENT A SERVICE PLAN TO MEET THE IDENTIFIED NEEDS PURSUANT TO FLORIDA STATUTES ON A CONTINUING BASIS, ALLOCATE AND LEVERAGE FUND TO SUPPORT ACTION PLANNING.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to acquire, preserve, research, exhibit and provide for the educational use of works of art, objects or artifacts that are related to the study of zoology, biology, botany, mineralogy, geology and other natural sciences; history; archeology; or science and technology.

The goal of this organization is to preserve and protect water resources from indiscriminate waste and ensure that the supply of quality water is adequate to meet the needs of the public, agriculture and industry. Also included are organizations that preserve and manage coastal lands including shorelines, coastal waters and lands extending inland from the shore which affect coastal waters; bays, lakes, rivers, wetlands, estuaries, watersheds and other aquatic habitats.

TO CONDUCT SANCTIONED MATCHES, DOG SHOWS, AND OBEDIENCE TRIALS UNDER THE RULES OF THE AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB. THE CORPORATION SHALL HAVE THE POWER TO DO ANY AND ALL LAWFUL ACTS AND THINGS AND TO ENGAGE IN ANY AND ALL LAWFUL ACTIVITIES WHICH MAY BE NECESSARY, USEFUL, SUITABLE, DESIRABLE, OR PROPER FOR THE FURTHERANCE, ACCOMPLISHMENT, FOSTERING, OR ATTAINMENT OF ANY OR ALL OF THE PURPOSES FOR WHICH THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED.

THE FLORIDA SIDS ALLIANCE PROVIDES FAMILY SUPPORT FOR INFANTS LOST TO SIDS OR OTHER INFANT DEATH, EDUCATE FAMILIES AND PROFESSIONALS ABOUT REDUCING SIDS AND OTHER INFANT DEATHS, AND FUND RESEARCH IN THE CAUSE OF SIDS. A NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH CRIBS FOR KIDS HAS PROVIDED PACK N PLAYS FOR THE DISTRIBUTION IN THE STATE. SAFE SLEEP BOOKS AND RACK CARDS ARE BEING DISTRIBUTED TO VOLUNTEERS AND HOSPITALS FOR DISTRIBUTION TO FAMILIES THAT HAVE DELIVERED RECENTLY.

MISSION:

PROMOTE GENERAL INTERESTS OF BICYCLING. THE CLUB WORKS WITH THE FLORIDA BICYCLING ASSOCIATION TO PROMOTE BIKE ADVOCACY WITH LOCAL AND STATE GOVERNMENTS, CONDUCTS CYCLING EVENTS AND SUPPORTS 3RD PARTY CYCLING EVENTS.
