ACQUIRED AND HOLDING A 51% CONTROLLING GENERAL PARTNER INTEREST IN AMBULATORY SURGICAL FACILITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA LLLP, DBA MEMORIAL SAME DAY SURGERY CENTER (ASFSF). ASFSF OPERATES AMBULATORY SURGICAL FACILITIES IN THE SOUTH BROWARD HOSPITAL DISTRICT, PROVIDING QUALITY HEALTH SERVICES TO THE RESIDENTS OF THE DISTRICT AT REASONABLE COSTS, AND OPERATING IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE COMMUNITY BENEFIT STANDARDS APPLICABLE TO TAX EXEMPT HEALTHCARE ORGANIZATIONS, INCLUDING PROMOTING HEALTH OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC, PROVIDING CHARITY AND INDIGENT CARE AND PARTICIPATING IN GOVERNMENT PAYOR PROGRAMS ON A NONDISCRIMINATORY BASIS.
