IN PARTICULAR, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES FUNDS FOR THE OPERATION OF A SCHOOL IN CHIMALTENANGO, GUATEMALA. THERE ARE OVER 300 STUDENTS WHO ATTEND THE ONSITE SCHOOL. THE NUMBER OF CHILDREN IN FOSTER CARE FAMILIES WE SUPPORT VARIES FROM TIME TO TIME.

MISSION:

CIEBA IS A TRADE ORGANIZATION OF CHIEF INVESTMENT OFFICERS WHO MANAGE AND ADMINISTER CORPORATE RETIREMENT PLAN ASSETS FOR OVER 100 LARGE CORPORATIONS. MOST ARE AMERICAN COMPANIES, AND MOST MEMBERS ARE FIDUCIARIES OF THEIR RESPECTIVE COMPANIES' PLANS, GOVERNED BY THE EMPLOYEE RETIREMENT INCOME SECURITY ACT OF 1974. IN THIS REGARD, CIEBA SPENDS 100% OF ITS TIME ON ACTIVITIES PROMOTING THE COMMON INTERESTS OF MEMBERS, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING: (A) ORGANIZING AND HOSTING CONFERENCES, SEMINARS, AND MEETINGS FOR ITS MEMBERS, COVERING CURRENT AND EMERGING RETIREMENT INVESTMENT POLICY ISSUES, (B) PROVIDING INPUT TO POLICYMAKERS ON ISSUES AFFECTING THE MANAGEMENT OF RETIREMENT PLAN ASSETS, (C) WRITING RETIREMENT-RELATED ARTICLES FOR DISTRIBUTION TO THE MEMBERSHIP, AND (D) PUBLISHING WHITE PAPERS AND POSITION STATEMENTS AND DOING INTERVIEWS WITH VARIOUS RELEVANT MEDIA ON CURRENT TOPICS RELATED TO RETIREMENT PLANS AND INVESTMENTS.
