THE MISSION OF OXFORD ACADEMY IS TO PROVIDE YOUNG MEN WITH A SUCCESSFUL EXPERIENCE THROUGH ONE-TO-ONE INSTRUCTION, A STRUCTURED BOARDING ENVIRONMENT AND A CLOSE, CARING

MISSION:

VALLEY SHORE YMCA MISSION IS TO DEVELOP AND ENCOURAGE THE GROWTH OF ALL INDIVIDUALS IN SPIRIT, MIND AND BODY IN AN ATMOSPHERE OF MUTUAL RESPECT. AREAS OF FOCUS ARE YOUTH DEVELOPMENT, HEALTHY LIVING AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY.

FRATERNAL OPERATIONS-MEMBERS LOUNGE AND FOOD SERVICES FOR APPROXIMATELY 2,600 MEMBERS BANQUET SERVICES FOR AFFILIATED MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS AND BENEVOLENT SERVICES REGARDING CHARITIES AND SCHOLARSHIPS.

REGIONAL DISPATCH CENTER FOR EMERGENCY CALL PROCESSING SERVING TEN TOWNS.

TO PROVIDE FIRE PROTECTION AND EMERGENCY SERVICES TO THE RESIDENTS OF WESTBROOK,CT AND TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS TO HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS IN THE COMMUNITY ON A NON-DISCRIMINATORY BASIS.

SPAYING, NEUTERING AND OTHER VETERINARY SERVICES PERFORMED ON CATS FOR WHICH A NOMINAL FEE IS CHARGED. THE ORGANIZATION TREATED ABOUT 3,700 ANIMALS DURING THE FISCAL YEAR.
