TO PROTECT, MAINTAIN AND PRESERVE THE STANTON-DAVIS HOMESTEAD AND ARTIFACTS WITH THE PURPOSE OF CREATING A MUSEUM AND EDUCATIONAL CENTER WHICH IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, AND DEDICATED TO THE MEMORY OF THOMAS STANTON, THE DAVIS FAMILY, NATIVE AMERICANS, AND AFRICAN SLAVES ASSOCIATED WITH THE HISTORY OF THE HOMESTEAD; ALL OF WHOM WERE INSTRUMENTAL IN THE FOUNDING OF CONNECTICUT.

THE MISSION IS TO PROMOTE AND EDUCATE AFFORDABLE HOUSING AVAILABLE TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN THE GEOGRAPHIC AREA LOCATED AROUND STONINGTON, CONNECTICUT. THE SPECIFIC PURPOSE OF THE CORPORATION IS TO DEVELOP, REDEVELOP, MANAGE, SPONSOR, OWN, AND EXPAND THE AVAILABILITY OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR VERY LOW AND MODERATE INCOME INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN THE GREATER STONINGTON AREA. IN FURTHERANCE OF ITS PURPOSE, THE CORPORATION MAY BUILD, ACQUIRE, RENOVATE, REHABILITATE, AND REVITALIZE STRUCTURES TO BE OCCUPIED BY VERY LOW, LOW, AND MODERATE INCOME INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES IN THE AREA SERVED BY THE CORPORATION ON ITS OWN OR IN COLLABORATION WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS, PUBLIC AND PRIVATE.

WE SUPPORT THIS ADVOCACY BY DEVELOPING AND MAINTAINING A MEDIA LIBRARY FOR DISTRIBUTION TO EDUCATIONAL AND PUBLIC INSTITUTIONS, NON-PROFITS, BUSINESSES AND INDIVIDUALS. OUR PERSPECTIVE ON ENVIRONMENTAL ECOLOGY, ALSO INCLUDES HUMAN ECOLOGY. TO SUPPLEMENT THIS EFFORT, WE MAINTAIN A NETWORK OF SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS AMONG FILM PRODUCERS, SCIENTISTS, ACADEMICS, AS WELL AS OTHER DISTRIBUTORS WHO SHARE A COMMON ASPIRATION TO IDENTIFY, PRODUCE AND SHARE DISCOVERIES IN NATURE AND HUMANITY. SAMPLE TOPICS INCLUDE DEFORESTATION, WATER RESOURCES, OCEAN CONSERVATION, SUSTAINABLE FISHING, RENEWABLE ENERGIES, CLIMATE CHANGE AND OTHER ISSUES THAT AFFECT HUMANITY IN THE CONTEXT OF ITSELF AND NATURE.
