The Nonprofit Ecosystem in Telluride

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to engage in radio productions and broadcast, including public radio stations and radio stations that offer programming that is designed for community residents who are blind or visually impaired (radio reading services).

MISSION:

DURING 2022, THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUED TO WORK WITH A NUMBER OF PRIVATE LAND OWNERS TO HELP EDUCATE THEM IN THE AREA OF LAND CONSERVATION. WE ALSO WORKED DILIGENTLY TO ASSIST THE TOWN OF TELLURIDE IN IMPLEMENTING AND MONITORING THE CONSERVATION EASEMENT ON THE "TELLURIDE VALLEY FLOOR", A 560 ACRE PARCEL CONTIGIOUS TO THE EASTERN TOWN BOUNDRY.

MISSION:

THE MISSION OF THE TELLURIDE HISTORICAL MUSEUM IS TO PRESERVE THE RICH, COLORFUL AND DIVERSE HISTORY OF THE REGION AND TO BRING HISTORY TO LIFE THROUGH EXHIBITS, PROGRAMS AND EDUCATION.

TASP IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO ENRICH THE LIVES OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES BY PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL AND RECREATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES THAT DEVELOP LIFE SKILLS, ENCOURAGE PERSONAL GROWTH AND PROMOTE INDEPENDENCE.

BRIGHT FUTURES PROVIDES RESOURCES TO IMPROVE THE LIVES OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES. BRIGHT FUTURES WORKS TO INCREASE THE QUALITY, ACCESSIBILITY, AND AVAILABILITY OF EARLY CARE AND EDUCATION IN SAN MIGUEL, OURAY, MONTROSE, DELTA, AND SAN JUAN COUNTIES.

ELKS INVEST IN THEIR COMMUNITIES THROUGH PROGRAMS THAT HELP CHILDREN AND VETERANS BY UNDERTAKING PROJECTS THAT ADDRESS UNMET NEEDS.
